Working with waste previously transformed into new raw material, introduces another layer of playfulness, as every batch is unique and different from the prior. In Poly-hedric, Plastiz and Studio WA+CH present various applications of 100% recycled and recyclable plastic surfaces to encourage designers to unlock their creativity as they engage with this well-known yet always-changing material.

 

With its material showcase, Plastiz aims to promote a shift in perception when it comes to plastics: from a disposable material to a durable and versatile resource. The wide range of colors, shapes, and translucency gradients offer a great freedom to design that appeals to demanding customers in particular. Glossy or matt, soft and firm – recycled plastic allows for endless customization with a high-quality aesthetic appeal.

In the Transcendence exhibition, Studio WA+CH presents two series of furniture entirely crafted from Plastiz sustainable plastic materials: the PLUS collection lamps with custom interchangeable shades and lighting systems, and a new version of the les(s) side tables that integrate wireless charging pads on the table surfaces, merging technology in a quiet, invisible way to respond to the modern smart lifestyle.
